NSW Government Report

Situation
The Office of Environment and Heritage needed a complex report designed, based on large volumes of raw data supplied in Excel and Word documents. The challenge was to transform dense statistics into a format that was clear, accessible, and engaging.
Task
My responsibility was to design a user-friendly document that presented the data in a way that made it easy to understand while staying true to government branding and style guidelines.
Action
I worked closely with multiple levels of government and diverse stakeholders to interpret the data, structure content logically, and apply visual design techniques — including charts, infographics, and layout strategies — to enhance readability. I ensured the design was professional, consistent, and compliant with official branding standards.
Result
The final document was well-received, praised for making complex information more approachable and visually engaging. The project also gave me valuable insight into how government departments use branding and style guides to communicate consistently across large organisations.
